NEW COLLABORATIONS
An opportunity to expand upon the project's initial themes came in 2020, when the project was commissioned by Arts & Culture at The University of Exeter, and The Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery, Exeter (UK). This enabled Simon to work with other artists on a range of new artworks including photography, experiments with live food, film, audio-recordings, a suite of songs, ceramics, textworks, and performances. West embedded the project within the University of Exeter's food studies programme and the Exeter Food network; work with Harry and microbial ecologists Dan Bebber & Ben Temperton led to a research proposal, through which to further explore this multi-disciplinary, collective work §
